Obituary of Sally Pagano

PAGANO- Sally Pagano, of Shelton, died July 9, 2009. Born in Derby, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria Piekarczyk Kapusta. Ms. Pagano worked as a secretary for the City of Derby in the Housing Dept. for many years until her retirement. She was a devout member of St. Lawrence Parish in Shelton. and an active volunteer at VARCA. She is survived by a sister, Ruth Lemchak and her husband, Joseph of Oxford; special nieces, Susan lemchak and Patrice Kamins, both of NY and Janice Fama of MA; a special nephew, Joseph Lemchak, Jr. of NY; as well as many other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant son, Freddy Pagano; sister, Gladys Zyla; and brothers, Ted, John, Edward, and Charles Kapusta. A private Memorial Service will be held in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. Inurnment will directly follow in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery, Derby.
